I have concluded that–particularly in my blog posts–I use a lot of parentheses. (See here. And the above two paragraphs.) The comment made by user alms on this Metafilter post made me chuckle. Simple, declarative sentences are good.
Birmingham, England’s Eclectic Wedding Extravaganza happens this weekend. Their logo is a punk-rock robot sheep; their initials shorten to EWE. These are our kind of people.
