I’ve got something to say, but I’ve got a few items in my Friday Radar folder to clean out:
The Thankful Registry is just…sexy. I’ve got a design nerd-on just thinking about it.
The Vulture scores all 27 seasons of The Real World. (Dear Real Worlds from 2000 on: wait, there were Real Worlds after the year 2000?)
Our best friends livestreamed their wedding back in 1999. When we all dialed up to use AOL Mail.
The Laugh Staff will write your lazy ass a best man/maid of honor speech. Lazy ass.
I like these kids’ style. A good antidote to the bride who bitches out guests for their WAY GENEROUS $100 gift.
Flixel, please come to Android soon.
Want to see what you might have been wearing to wed if you were born a generation (or three) ago?
Fleapop lets you sell your awesome old stuff. (Not old DVD collections of The Real World, circa 2002. Take that junk to Ebay where it belongs.)
You’re gonna miss these pithy posts. As of Monday, I’m officially stepping down as Bridebird Editor-in-Chief, and passing the baton to our fearless Lindsey. She will take over as operations manager, content planner, and all-around wedding guru, while I step into the background as an editor-at-large. I’m so proud of what we’ve created here, and am thrilled to leave it in such good hands. Sarah, Noelle, and Rachel will also still occasionally contribute. I’m off to continue my really fun work as Editor at Design Aglow, and my really lucky life as a freelance writer and spouse and mom and sarcastic, well-intended, potty-mouthed friend. I’ll be around. We all will. (Especially Lindsey…ha!) See you soon.
